Chief's Game

So as I told you…


I got Chief’s tickets for Chris for Christmas this year!

We are devout Chief’s fans…but usually from the living room couch!

This year is different!

We’ve been to one Chief’s game prior to this and we knew how much fun they are, but it had been quite some time and we had forgotten what it is like to be in the “SEA OF RED”!

This year, our friends Tim and Hilary joined us for the trip to KC.

They are huge OU fans and of course the night before the Chief’s game, OU played at the Fiesta Bowl.

So Saturday, we all wore our OU stuff (provided by them) and watched the game (from our table at Dave & Busters)!

OU Won! Thankfully…as Tim gets kinda cranky when they lose!

And the next day…we geared up in our layers and layers of Red and Yellow and headed to Arrowhead stadium!

We had GREAT seats!...

40 yard line, lower section, Chief’s side, 38th Row…. PERFECT!

And, the weather cooperated as best as could be expected for Jan 2nd! But, we were well prepared and dressed accordingly!

The only bummer to the day was that the Chief’s lost!

Good thing they had already secured their title as AFC West CHAMPIONS!!!

We had such a blast! Thanks Nickels’ for going with us! And for all the laughs!

Now…on to the playoffs…!!! GO KC!
