No...I am NOT talking about babies!
Well...
Not any NEW babies that is!
However, I AM talking about MY baby! And yes, she may be 3...but she will ALWAYS be MY BABY!
I probably shouldn't be bragging about this...since she should've probably been able to do this way before now...
BUT...
Brookie is FINALLY recognizing her colors!!!!
We have been working so very hard at colors for the last month or so!
Up until this past Sunday... Brookie knew two colors.... blue and pink!
EVERYTHING was either blue or pink when you asked her. There was no reds, oranges, greens, blacks or browns in her universe....just pink and blue!
BUT FINALLY...she got it! Our practice paid off!!! She now has COLOR in her world!

Easter Sunday
I'm FINALLY getting around to posting about our Easter!
We got all dressed up...
just like every Easter...
because girls LOVE to dress up in their new Easter dresses!!!
However, I get stressed out because of it!!!
In fact, it does seem like Easter morning is one of my most stressed out days!
Chris and I both AGREE!!!
But....I'm working on it!!
We took our pictures....
We went to church... which helped us to get back on track with the REAL meaning of Easter Sunday!!!
We went to Chris' parents house for dinner with his entire family....
and my parents joined us there too!
So, we were blessed to spend Easter with both sets of grandparents!
We ate a delicious meal!
And then we got down to the kid's favorite part of Easter!
THE HUNT!!!
The eggs were already hidden....
most of them stuffed with candy....
but some had money in them....
which spurred the "big" kids' interest in wanting to hunt for eggs as well...
Grandma got us all ready by telling us the "rules"...
Little kids first got 3 minutes to hunt...
then "big" kids got 2 minutes...
then it was everyone to find the last of the eggs!!!
Ready....
Set....
GO!!!!
The best part was diving into the findings!!!
Even daddy helped!!!
We even got to take some pics in the beautiful sunshine!!
And got a couple good ones of Great Grandma Erma and Great Grandpa Paul!
We have a new baby on the way.... can't wait for her to arrive this summer!!!
